Question: Why doesn't my ditch appear on the Ecological Ranking Tool?
Answer: It's likely DNR does not consider your ditch to be a public waterway. The EcoRank analysis only considered riparian areas adjacent to public waters. The DNR Public Waters Inventory was derived from “current paper regulatory maps.” You can view the full metadata for the DNR Public Waters Inventory Watercourse Delineations here.
