Spreading Jacob’s Ladder (Polemonium reptans)

An herbaceous perennial, spreading Jacob’s ladder thrives in moist, shady habitats of southeastern Minnesota. Blooms appear in late April, providing pollinators with an important early season sources of pollen and nectar.
