Prairie smoke (Geum triflorum) has finished blooming for the season, but their wispy, smoke-like seedheads are just starting to ripen in prairies and native gardens across Minnesota. The seeds are easy to collect and can be sown in areas where they will have sufficient sun and well drained soils.
