Apply for BWSR Grants

BWSR grants provide funding to local units of government to deliver soil and water conservation services to their communities. Grant funds support and increase local capacity to implement programs and, provide cost-share with landowners who install conservation practices on their land to benefit state water and soil resources.

Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

The Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) is accepting competitive grant applications from local governments for funds to protect and improve water quality in their communities. The application period for the FY19 Clean Water Fund (CWF) Competitive Grants is open now through August 31, 2018. These funds are available as a result of the Clean Water, Land & Legacy amendment passed by Minnesota voters in 2008.
