  • Wetland Delineation Precipitation Data: http://climate.umn.edu/wetland/ (use this site to access precipitation data for use in analyzing and interpreting wetland delineation information)
  • Wetland Hydrology Monitoring - Part 1 (30 minutes)
  • This is the first of two training modules on the topic of wetland hydrology monitoring – offered as an auxiliary part of the Wetland Delineator Certification Program (WDCP) basic wetland delineation course. It is an introduction to the what, why, where, and how of wetland hydrology monitoring, including types of monitoring, levels of effort, questions that are answered by monitoring, shallow monitoring wells and piezometers, planning, documentation, and maintenance.
  • Wetland Hydrology Monitoring - Part 2 (18 minutes)
  • This is the second of two training modules on the topic of wetland hydrology monitoring – offered as an auxiliary part of the Wetland Delineator Certification Program (WDCP) basic wetland delineation course. It covers installation of shallow monitoring wells and piezometers, measuring water levels, and data interpretation.
  • Altered Hydrology (15 minutes)
  • This is a training modules on the topic of altered hydrology – offered as an auxiliary part of the Wetland Delineator Certification Program (WDCP) basic wetland delineation course. It covers the basics of drainage and why it is done, installing drainage, the wetland hydrology technical criterion, the terms “effectively drained” and “lateral effect”, and drainage setback tables.
