The class will tour the area around Bluestem Prairie and view multiple examples of brush management, including fire, mechanical and chemical treatments. Attendees will be able to see the differences in effects between treatment types, as well as timing of treatments. Discussions will center on various strategies that could be used to reduce brush presence in grasslands.
